Q: Overall, how have your experiences been with committing to women prenatally rather than doing shift work?
A: The experiences have definitely been positive.
Q: What are the benefits of meeting someone prenatally? Do you think this is important for all women?
A:
I prefer to meet with them prenatally at least once. Its difficult to
get enough support and form a trusting relationship if you haven't had
at least one prenatal appointment. And its difficult to give someone
information when they are in labor. Prenatals are very important because
that’s where you can give info about the effects of different drugs. I
