After updating our database we realized the need for a better system to keep track of all the extra hours doulas are doing off-campus in addition to their shifts.

Therefore, we now have a policy for reporting off campus hours. These hours would include work you have done with fundraising committee, volunteer committee, BJP, BADP, etc. Please read the following information carefully. You will be expected to follow these policies beginning November 1st.

For all off-campus hours you MUST clock in through VIC-PIN to have your hours counted. In the next few days, in addition to the 6C, there will also be an option for off-campus log in. Please login, by selecting the off campus hours tab, while you are doing off campus hours.

Since we understand logging remotely can be challenging, please follow these guidelines:

1) Make sure to login and logout for all off campus hours. At committee meetings, make sure everyone clocks in before, and clocks out after. Include this in the agenda as a reminder.

2) If you cannot clock in at the location you are completing your hours (ie the jail), it is ok to clock in before you leave your house and then logout when you return home. In other words, it is ok to include transportation in your hours. 

3) If you forget to clock in (or clock out) email us at sfghdoula@gmail.com AND Bruce Johnson (bruce.johnson@sfdph.org) within 48 hours to report your hours. If you do not, we cannot count your hours.

4) For anyone doing on-call work at SFGH, even if you don't sign up for a shift, you still need to clock in.
