Our Programs
Volunteers report for a 12-hour shift on the Labor and Delivery unit. They work with any laboring mothers who desire doula support during that time.
Labor & Delivery Shift
Volunteers commit to taking on individual clients and being on call for their deliveries. They meet with mothers prenatally, attend the delivery, and provide postpartum care.
On-Call
Postpartum
Volunteers work 4 hours shifts on the postpartum unit. They work with mothers who have recently delivered to provide support and information regarding infant care, self care, and breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding Education
Volunteers work 4 hour shifts in the 5M prenatal clinic providing breastfeeding education.
