Ranita Novak, RN, IBCLC

Ranita Novak is the Director of the SFGH Volunteer Doula Program. She took over the position in May of 2014. Since that time she has worked with the Doula Task Force to re-energize the program, adding many new volunteers into the program as well as restarting the postpartum and 5M educator programs.

 

 

Ranita has been a nurse in the bay area for 10 years, the last 7 years as a labor and delivery nurse at San Francisco General Hospital. She has also recently become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Prior to her nursing career, Ranita studied accounting and worked in small business management. Ranita is married to her college sweetheart and has two daughters.
